Fellows receive a stipend according to the University of Minnesota’s applicable fellowship salary scale; additional administrative and research allowances may be available when funds permit.

The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship focused on advanced clinical and surgical management of gynecologic cancers. Fellows complete a minimum of 24 months of clinical training and 12 months of protected research time, with rotations in colorectal surgery, radiation oncology, and surgical ICU. Training includes extensive exposure to radical gynecologic oncology procedures at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview and Southdale Hospital. Fellows also participate in multidisciplinary conferences, clinical trials, translational research, and are required to complete and defend a research thesis.
