The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine is a three-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship that provides advanced training in the prevention, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and multidisciplinary management of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vulvar, and vaginal malignancies. The program integrates 12 months of protected research with 24 months of comprehensive clinical and surgical training, offering extensive experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, complex oncologic procedures, chemotherapy, clinical trials, pathology, radiation oncology, and palliative care. Fellows work within a multidisciplinary cancer care team and participate in research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives, preparing them for careers as gynecologic oncologists, academic faculty, and clinical researchers.
