Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery

1. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery
2. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or possess appropriate documentation permitting legal training at the University of Colorado
3. International Medical Graduates must meet the applicable CU Anschutz GME requirements

The Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship is a one-year clinical fellowship focused on comprehensive management of orthopedic lower-extremity conditions through both nonoperative and operative treatment. Fellows work in a one-on-one apprenticeship model with foot and ankle faculty, gaining experience in preoperative and postoperative patient care, surgical procedures, and inpatient management. The program provides exposure to a broad range of foot and ankle cases and ongoing clinical trials involving newer surgical technologies. Fellows also participate in weekly indications conferences, didactics, resident education, anatomy and skills laboratories, and complete a research project suitable for publication or presentation.
