The Endourology, Laparoscopy and Robotics Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is a comprehensive one-year advanced training program designed for urologists pursuing expertise in minimally invasive urologic surgery. Offered through the Department of Urology, the fellowship provides intensive clinical and operative experience at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, one of the leading tertiary academic medical centers in the United States. Fellows receive hands-on training in flexible ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), laparoscopic renal surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, reconstructive procedures, and the management of complex urinary stone disease. The curriculum emphasizes patient-centered care, perioperative management, advanced surgical technology, and evidence-based decision-making. Fellows work closely with experienced faculty, participate in multidisciplinary conferences, tumor boards, journal clubs, and resident education, and gain exposure to innovative surgical techniques and image-guided interventions. The program also encourages participation in clinical and translational research, quality improvement projects, and scientific presentations at national and international meetings. Upon completion, graduates are well prepared for careers in academic urology, advanced minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, and tertiary referral practice.
