Fellowship in Endocrinology

The Endocrinology Fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is a two-year fellowship providing comprehensive training in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Fellows receive inpatient and outpatient clinical experience in disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal glands, diabetes, calcium and bone metabolism, endocrine emergencies, thyroid cancer and endocrine disorders during pregnancy. Training also includes thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration, endocrine conferences, Grand Rounds, journal clubs, multidisciplinary thyroid and pituitary conferences, research and teaching opportunities. Fellows train at Los Angeles General Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

1. Apply through ERAS.
2. Submit the ERAS Common Application.
3. Submit CV and personal statement.
4. Submit USMLE Transcript.
5. Submit 4 letters of recommendation, including one from the current Internal Medicine Program Director.
6. IMG applicants must provide a valid ECFMG certificate and California eligibility letter.
7. Applications are reviewed by the program.
8. Selected applicants are invited for interviews.
9. Fellowship positions are offered through the NRMP Match.
10. The application cycle generally opens in July, with interview invitations sent during September–October.
