Fellowship in Emergency Radiology

1. Completion of an ACGME-accredited or equivalent Diagnostic Radiology residency before the fellowship begins.
2. Eligibility to obtain a full medical license in Louisiana.
3. United States citizens, permanent residents and eligible visa holders may apply.

The Emergency Radiology Fellowship at Ochsner Health is a one-year, non-ACGME-accredited advanced training program based at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The fellowship provides focused clinical experience in emergency and trauma imaging, including acute neuroradiology, chest, abdominal and musculoskeletal imaging. Fellows receive hands-on training in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound in emergency settings. The curriculum also includes collaborative trauma care with emergency and surgical teams, multidisciplinary conferences, teleradiology, after-hours imaging workflows, resident teaching, clinical research and quality improvement projects. Ochsner Health is a nonprofit academic healthcare system serving Louisiana, Mississippi and the wider Gulf South region.
