Fellowship in Emergency Radiology

The Emergency Radiology Fellowship Program at UAB Heersink School of Medicine provides advanced training in emergency and trauma imaging. Fellows gain extensive experience interpreting emergency department studies, trauma imaging, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and other urgent diagnostic examinations. The program includes dedicated emergency radiology rotations, elective rotations, multidisciplinary conferences, didactic teaching, and opportunities for research. Fellows also participate in Code Stroke and work in a Level I trauma center environment.

1. Complete the Emergency Radiology Fellowship application provided by the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
2. Submit an updated curriculum vitae.
3. Submit three letters of recommendation, including one letter from the Residency Program Director.
4. Submit a personal statement describing your interest in Emergency Radiology.
5. Shortlisted applicants are invited for an interview, followed by the fellowship program's final selection.
