The Emergency Medical Services Fellowship provides advanced education in EMS operations, system design, and medical oversight. Fellows participate in field response, EMS agency collaboration, and training of paramedics and emergency personnel. Eligibility

  1. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  2. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
  3. Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine
  4. Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota
  5. Curriculum Vitae and personal statement
  6. Letters of recommendation (including residency program director)
  7. Demonstrated interest in EMS systems, prehospital care, or disaster medicine
  8. Ability to participate in fellowship application and interview process

Admission Process:

  1. Submit application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) or program-designated application pathway.
  2. Provide required documents including CV, personal statement, transcripts, and recommendation letters.

  4. Selected candidates are invited for interviews.
  5. Evaluation based on academic record, clinical performance, and EMS interest.
