Fellowship in Disaster Medicine & Emergency Management

The Disaster Medicine & Emergency Management Fellowship is an SAEM-approved fellowship designed to train future leaders in disaster medicine and emergency management. The program provides hands-on experience in disaster preparedness, emergency management, planning, response, teaching, research, public health, and patient care. Fellows gain exposure to hospital-based emergency management and local, regional, state, and federal disaster planning, preparing them for clinical, academic, and administrative careers.

1. Meet the fellowship eligibility requirements.
2. Apply for the Disaster Medicine & Emergency Management Fellowship.
3. Applicants are reviewed and selected by the fellowship/program leadership.
4. Selected candidates complete the required fellowship track:
5. 1-year track, or
6. 2-year track with master's degree work.
5. Up to three fellows are accepted per year.
