The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a three-year program focused on advanced training in the evaluation and management of children with developmental and behavioral concerns, including autism spectrum disorders, attention problems, language disorders, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. Fellows receive clinical experience at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, the UTHSC Center on Developmental Disabilities, related pediatric subspecialties, and community sites. Training includes comprehensive diagnostic assessments, targeted evaluations, treatment planning, longitudinal patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, teaching, advocacy, and participation in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program. Fellows also receive dedicated time and mentorship for scholarly activity and research in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
