Fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics

The Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a three-year ACGME-approved fellowship providing comprehensive training in the assessment and management of children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental and behavioral disorders and neurodevelopmental differences. Fellows receive training in interdisciplinary developmental assessments, individual consultations, long-term management, community-based care, and evidence-based clinical practice. Clinical exposure includes conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, ADHD, Fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, neurogenetic disorders, and behavioral challenges. The program also emphasizes research, quality improvement, teaching, leadership, and academic development, with each fellow completing a scholarly project under the guidance of a research mentor.

2. Submit the application through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service)
3. ERAS applications for the 2027 cycle begin July 1, 2026
4. Submit the required application materials and letters of recommendation
5. Completed applications and letters of recommendation must be received by September 31 according to the program's current page
6. Selected applicants are invited for virtual interviews
7. Interviews are completed by November 28
8. Applicants participate in the NRMP Fall Medical Specialties Match
9. Match Day: December 2, 2026
