The Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the University of Minnesota provides advanced training in the care of critically ill patients across medical, cardiac, cardiothoracic, neurocritical, and surgical intensive care units. Fellows develop expertise in critical care procedures, resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, point-of-care ultrasound, airway management, and multidisciplinary patient care, along with opportunities for simulation, research, teaching, and quality improvement. The program offers General Critical Care and Cardiac Critical Care training pathways.
