Fellowship in Complex Family Planning

The Complex Family Planning Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 2-year ACGME-accredited fellowship providing advanced clinical and procedural training in comprehensive reproductive health and complex family planning. Fellows receive hands-on experience in pregnancy termination, contraception, management of pregnancy loss and abnormal/ectopic pregnancy, and care for patients with complex medical conditions. The program also includes structured didactic education, research training, public health coursework, and clinical experience at University and community partner sites.

1. Apply through ERAS Fellowships.
2. Submit the online application, CV, personal statement, 3 current recommendation letters, applicable examination transcripts, and recent photograph.
3. Submit additional documents, including medical school diploma, OB/GYN certification/examination information, and CREOG scores for Years 1–3.
4. Eligible applicants are shortlisted for an interview with the University of Minnesota Complex Family Planning Fellowship Program.
5. The fellowship participates in the ERAS Match and follows the Society of Family Planning (SFP) common application deadlines.
