Fellowship in Clinical Psychology

1. Possession of an APA-accredited doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
2. Completion of a one-year APA-accredited clinical internship.
3. Ability to meet state licensing prerequisites and residency program application requirements.
4. Completed APPIC/APPA-CAS application and documentation as required.

The Clinical Psychology Residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is a postdoctoral, APA-accredited training program designed to cultivate advanced clinical competencies for psychologists preparing for independent practice at the highest professional level. The residency embraces a scientist-practitioner model, which integrates clinical service, assessment, intervention, consultation, and scholarly activity. Participants train in one of several emphasis areas — including pediatric psychology, clinical child psychology, and psycho-oncology — receiving intensive supervision alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams.
