Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electro Physiology

1. Medical degree: MD, DO, or equivalent medical qualification.
2. Completion of Internal Medicine residency.
3. Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship before entering Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training. Current Cedars-Sinai fellows' training backgrounds reflect prior cardiovascular disease fellowship training.
4. Must meet Cedars-Sinai GME eligibility requirements.
5. IMGs: Must graduate from a WDOMS-listed medical school and have either current ECFMG certification or full, unrestricted U.S. medical licensure.
6. Must satisfy applicable specialty-specific credentialing and board-eligibility requirements.

The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai provides advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and electrical disorders of the heart. Fellows receive hands-on experience in electrophysiology studies, catheter ablation procedures, pacemaker and ICD implantation and management, atrial fibrillation treatment, complex arrhythmias, and device-based therapies. The program also includes outpatient arrhythmia and device clinics, inpatient consultations, didactic education, simulation, and research opportunities.

1. Complete Internal Medicine residency.
2. Complete an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
3. Prepare the required application and supporting documents.
4. Submit the fellowship application through the program's designated application process.
5. The program reviews applications and selects candidates for interview.
6. Attend the interview if shortlisted.
7. Complete Cedars-Sinai credentialing, licensing, and onboarding requirements.
8. Receive the final fellowship appointment and begin the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship.
