Eligibility
- Open to candidates with MD and/or PhD degree in a relevant discipline such as genetics, biochemistry, or laboratory medicine
- Applicants should have appropriate prior training/experience in genetics or a related biomedical field (laboratory or clinical exposure preferred)
- Must meet requirements to pursue training leading to American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) certification
- Should have a strong foundation in biochemical genetics, molecular biology, and laboratory diagnostic techniques (as expected for this fellowship training)
- Candidates must be eligible for postdoctoral/fellowship training in the U.S. (visa/licensure requirements as applicable)
- Expected to fulfill academic requirements during training (e.g., coursework in advanced genetics and molecular mechanisms)
