Fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry

The Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine offers advanced subspecialty training through a 12-month clinician-educator track or a 24-month clinician-scientist track, depending on available funding. The program develops expertise in the evaluation and treatment of focal neurobehavioral syndromes, major neuropsychiatric conditions, and neurological disorders involving cognitive, emotional, and behavioral problems. Training includes supervised clinical experience, case conferences, didactic lectures, individual supervision, structured literature review, and research activities. Fellows also develop skills in neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neuropsychology, behavioral neurology, research methodology, communication, professionalism, and systems-based practice.

Selected applicants participate in virtual interviews, generally held in January

The fellowship typically begins on July 1 of the subsequent cycle.
