Overview

    The academic program focus on developing knowledge, skills & attitude among the fellows to be able to function as an independent clinician/ consultant and a teacher. The competencies shall be divided into 4 broad domains: Clinical, Public Health, Managerial, Education & Research.

    At the end of the course, the candidate should be able to:

    • Provide comprehensive and integrated health care services with a focus on sports medicine and physical activity.
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and skill in sports medicine.
    • Analyze, construct and conduct research in the field of sports medicine with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.
    • Develop teaching methods and demonstrate high quality teaching to medical personnel in the areas of sports medicine or physical activity.
    • Should be able to do perform basic arthroscopy procedures The training of the candidate shall be competency based.
