Overview
The academic program focus on developing knowledge, skills & attitude among the fellows to be able to function as an independent clinician/ consultant and a teacher. The competencies shall be divided into 4 broad domains: Clinical, Public Health, Managerial, Education & Research.
At the end of the course, the candidate should be able to:
- Provide comprehensive and integrated health care services with a focus on sports medicine and physical activity.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and skill in sports medicine.
- Analyze, construct and conduct research in the field of sports medicine with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Develop teaching methods and demonstrate high quality teaching to medical personnel in the areas of sports medicine or physical activity.
- Should be able to do perform basic arthroscopy procedures The training of the candidate shall be competency based.

- Candidates are preferably with 2 years of professional experience after Post Graduation.
