Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging

1. Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
2. Completion of a Radiology Residency.
3. Eligibility to obtain full licensure through the California Medical Board by the start of the fellowship.
4. Applicants must submit the required application documents and 3 letters of recommendation.

The UCLA Abdominal Imaging Fellowship provides advanced, comprehensive, and clinically rigorous training in Abdominal Imaging and Cross-Sectional Intervention. Fellows gain experience in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and image-guided procedures. Training takes place across UCLA hospitals and outpatient imaging centers, with opportunities for independent image interpretation, teaching, research, and elective rotations.

2. Submit an updated Curriculum Vitae.
3. Submit a Personal Statement.
4. Submit United States Medical Licensing Examination or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination score reports.
5. Submit a Medical School Diploma.
6. Submit 3 Letters of Recommendation.
7. Applications for the 2028–2029 fellowship year are accepted beginning September 1, 2026.
8. Interviews begin January 11, 2027 and are conducted virtually.
9. Fellowship offers begin January 25, 2027, at noon Eastern Standard Time.
