Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging

The Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the UC Irvine School of Medicine is a one-year advanced radiology training program that focuses on developing expertise in cross-sectional abdominal imaging, providing comprehensive hands-on experience in CT, MRI, ultrasound, and image-guided procedures; fellows are trained in interpreting a wide spectrum of abdominal and pelvic diseases while working closely with experienced faculty in a high-volume clinical environment, and the program integrates structured teaching sessions, case-based conferences, multidisciplinary collaboration, and research opportunities, enabling fellows to build strong diagnostic, procedural, and academic skills and preparing them for successful careers in both academic and private practice settings
