Fellowship Course in Uropathology

• Must hold an MD or DO degree (or equivalent international medical degree)
• Completion of residency in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP
• Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Pathology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland (USA)
• Strong interest in urologic/genitourinary pathology and research
• International applicants require ECFMG certification and visa eligibility (if applicable)

The Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a one-year advanced training program that combines intensive clinical exposure with active research in diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Fellows work closely with expert faculty and gain extensive experience in evaluating high-volume and complex cases, including radical prostatectomy specimens and a broad spectrum of urologic pathology through structured teaching sets and a busy consultation service. The program emphasizes diagnostic accuracy, clinicopathologic correlation, and scholarly development, with fellows actively participating in research projects across diverse topics in genitourinary pathology, preparing them for academic careers and subspecialty expertise.
