Fellowship Course in Nuclear Medicine

1. Must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine through an ACGME-accredited program.
2. Must hold a non-restrictive California medical license.
3. If selected, candidates must obtain/maintain a valid California Medical License, California Fluoroscopy Certificate, DEA license, and ACLS certification before starting the fellowship.
4. The program requires proof of U.S. citizenship if selected.

The Nuclear Medicine Fellowship is a 12-month program providing advanced training in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy. Training covers radiotracers, nuclear physics, radiopharmacy, radiation biology and safety, PET/CT, CT techniques, and clinical applications. Fellows also receive more than 100 hours of formal lectures and laboratory training, with opportunities for research in oncology, neurology, cardiology, and infectious disease. Clinical training is provided at the Keck Medicine of USC PET Imaging Center, USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Los Angeles General Medical Center.
