Fellowship Course in Neuro Anesthesia

1. Must have completed an approved Anesthesiology Residency Training Program.
2. Must be eligible to obtain a California medical license or already hold a full California medical license.
3. Must provide a letter of interest or cover letter with an applicant photograph.
4. Must submit an updated Curriculum Vitae.
5. Must provide Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
6. Must submit a copy of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and medical school diploma.
7. Must provide a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
8. Must submit three letters of reference, including one from the residency program director or direct clinical supervisor.

The Neuroanesthesia Fellowship at UC San Diego School of Medicine provides advanced clinical training in anesthesia for complex neurosurgical procedures involving the brain, spine, and nervous system. The program offers experience in brain tumor surgery, awake craniotomy, epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation, vascular neurosurgery, and complex spine procedures, along with opportunities for research and interdisciplinary clinical training.
