Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine

Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Raichur, offers the MD General Medicine program as a comprehensive three-year postgraduate clinical course designed to produce competent physicians with strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. The department provides extensive exposure to both outpatient and inpatient care, emergency medicine, intensive care units, and specialty clinics. Postgraduate students receive structured training in managing acute and chronic medical illnesses, infectious diseases, cardiovascular disorders, respiratory conditions, endocrine and metabolic diseases, and neurological disorders. The curriculum integrates bedside clinical teaching, ward rounds, case presentations, seminars, journal clubs, and research methodology as prescribed by NMC and RGUHS. 1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution
2. Completion of compulsory rotating internship on or before the cut-off date
3. Permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council / NMC
