Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine

1. Must have completed MBBS with internship
2. Must have NMC/State Medical Council registration
3. Must qualify NEET-PG
4. Must participate in KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) PG Medical Counselling
5. Must fulfill all document and fee requirements during admission

The MD in General Medicine program at Al-Ameen Medical College provides comprehensive training in internal medicine through structured clinical rotations, bedside teaching, case discussions, and exposure to emergency and critical care units. Students are trained in subspecialties such as cardiology, neurology, nephrology, endocrinology, pulmonology, and gastroenterology. The department places strong emphasis on clinical skills, diagnostic reasoning, patient management, and medical ethics. Residents participate in academic activities including seminars, journal clubs, mortality meetings, and research projects as per RGUHS guidelines. The course is designed to produce skilled physicians capable of managing complex adult medical conditions and preparing for super-specialty training.

1. Complete MBBS + Internship and obtain medical registration

3. Register for KEA PG Medical Counselling (State Quota / Private Quota)
4. Choose Al-Ameen Medical College, Vijayapura during option entry
5. Seat allotment as per NEET-PG rank and counselling rules
6. Report to the college with original documents for verification
7. Pay the prescribed fees and complete admission procedures
8. Join the MD program as per the academic schedule
