Overview
The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology allows students to pursue a career as a medical lab technologist in a hospital or private laboratory. The course provides learning in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases in patients through clinical laboratory tests. After successfully completing this course, candidates can perform activities such as analyzing human body fluids, assisting the concerned doctor in the treatment of diseases and detecting the presence or absence of certain microorganisms in a patient’s body.

Eligibility
- Candidate must have at least 45-50% marks in Class 12 with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and, Biology.
- There is no age limit for DMLT Admissions in India.
- Candidates awaiting their Higher Secondary Exam results can also apply for the DMLT course.

Admission Process:
- One Photostat copy of the statement of marks of the Qualifying examination 10+2/ PUC/ PDC.
- One Photostat copy of the SSLC certificate showing the date of birth.
- 12 latest Passport Size Photos.
- One Photostat copy of SC/ST certificate duly certified (if applicable).
- Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
- Medical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
- Migration Certificate from the University (for students from outside Karnataka)
- Transfer certificate from the college.
