The Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship is a two-year program designed to provide advanced training in the surgical management of cancer patients and prepare fellows for board certification in Complex General Surgical Oncology. Fellows receive focused clinical experience in breast, melanoma, sarcoma, colorectal, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and endocrine oncology, along with rotations in thoracic, gynecologic, and radiation oncology. Training also includes exposure to interventional radiology and pathology, multidisciplinary cancer care, and a broad volume of oncology cases from the regional referral population. Research is integrated throughout the fellowship, with opportunities in clinical, translational, and basic science research and a dedicated six-month research block at the beginning of the second year.
