Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship

1. Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent medical degree.
2. Must have completed an accredited General Surgery residency or equivalent surgical training.
3. Must meet the Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education eligibility requirements.
4. Must satisfy applicable United States medical licensure and credentialing requirements.
5. International medical graduates must meet applicable Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) requirements.
6. Must fulfill any additional requirements established by the Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship program.

The Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced training in the multidisciplinary surgical management of complex solid tumors. Fellows gain experience in the evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary, cutaneous, and other surgical malignancies, with exposure to complex oncologic procedures and multidisciplinary cancer care. The fellowship also provides opportunities to participate in clinical research, clinical trials, and academic activities, helping fellows develop advanced expertise in surgical oncology.

1. Submit the required fellowship application to Cedars-Sinai.
2. Submit the required curriculum vitae, personal statement, academic records, residency information, and letters of recommendation.
3. Provide applicable licensing, examination, and credentialing documents.
4. International medical graduates must provide applicable ECFMG documentation.
5. The fellowship program reviews applications and shortlists eligible candidates.
6. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview.
7. Selected candidates complete the required Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education appointment and credentialing process.
