The five-year Child Neurology Residency Program at UAB provides integrated training in general pediatrics, adult neurology, and child neurology. Residents develop clinical expertise through inpatient and outpatient care, with exposure to pediatric epilepsy, electroencephalography (EEG), neonatal neurology, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-oncology, neurogenetics, neuroradiology, neuropathology, and pediatric neuropsychiatry. The program also includes research, teaching, conferences, quality improvement activities, and elective training, with clinical experiences at UAB, Children’s of Alabama, University Hospital, and affiliated sites.
