This 6-month online course is a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of Gynecological Ultrasound. In recent years, gynecological ultrasound has seen rapid advances primarily owing to improved ultrasound equipment and expanding research in the field.
Unfortunately, systematic education and training in this field is limited. Further, since a typical medical residency provides precious little exposure in the use of ultrasound to diagnose gynecological pathologies, it is not uncommon for clinicians and radiologists to lack an in-depth knowledge of gynecological ultrasound. Prompt and specific diagnosis is of pivotal importance in today’s world appropriate management of women with Gynecological pathologies.

1. This 6-month online course is a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of Gynecological Ultrasound, including infertility. This includes basic and advanced training in the subject.Various techniques of evaluation and rare pathologies have also been included.
2. The lectures include abundant images and numerous videos. Videos are essential because transvaginal scanning is a dynamic & interactive examination, that can only be captured and explained well with the help of videos.
3. There is self-assessment at the end of every lecture to test knowledge acquired
4. Access to online lectures for an extended period of time to allow self-paced learning and revision of talks and videos for in-depth learning
5. Facility for answering questions and clarification of doubts on material provided is also available.
6. Online image submission of images for assessment is a requisite for those opting for Certificate of Completion
7. In addition, we have an optional test at the end of the course (usually at the end of 5th month or 6th month), to certify the student has sound understanding of gynecological ultrasound and is a pre-requisite for Certificate of Competence. This is now being done online and option of onsite exam (for those interested) may be reconsidered after the Covid Pandemic has settled.
