Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

1. Completion of an Internal Medicine residency is required.
2. MD or equivalent medical degree.
3. Must provide USMLE and/or COMLEX board examination transcripts.
4. Must have 3 Letters of Recommendation, including one from the current program director.
5. International medical graduates (IMGs) must have a valid ECFMG certificate.
6. U.S. clinical experience is required for IMGs.
7. The program only accepts J-1 visas for international applicants.
8. Applicants must have a California medical license by the fellowship start date.

The Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a comprehensive fellowship that provides training in the assessment and management of cardiovascular diseases. Fellows receive clinical and procedural exposure across clinical cardiology, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, echocardiography, cardiovascular CT/MR, nuclear cardiology, heart failure and transplant, adult congenital heart disease and cardiothoracic surgery. Training takes place at Los Angeles General Medical Center and Keck Hospital of USC, with opportunities for clinical/basic science research, teaching and academic development.
