Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program

1. MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
2. Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency is required.
3. Applicants should meet the eligibility requirements of the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship.
4. Must satisfy the applicable requirements for fellowship appointment and medical licensure.

The Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Los Angeles provides advanced training in the surgical management of breast disease and breast cancer. The program emphasizes multidisciplinary breast cancer care, with exposure to breast surgery, breast imaging, medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, genetics, pathology, and psycho-oncology. Fellows also participate in tumor boards, clinical research, clinical trials, journal clubs, and breast cancer education activities, gaining comprehensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with breast cancer.
