Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology (OTAT)

• Candidates need to have qualified two year Pre-University (10+2) examination with PASS percentage and studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as principle subjects from a recognized educational Board.
• The vocational higher secondary education course conducted by vocational higher secondary education, Govt. of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of Govt. of Karnataka Pre University Course.
• Eligibility for admission is as per RGUHS norms as amended from time to time.

Anesthesia Technologists perform logistical and technical support to Anesthesiologist and other technical staff of Operation Theater. They maintain anesthesiology equipment and supplies, set up anesthetizing locations and operate, monitor, and collect data from anesthesia related equipment. In some cases these professionals will also do clinical laboratory tests, equipment maintenance/ repair, and special cardiac procedures.

Duration:- 3 ½ years including 6 months of internship.
