Established as the first government B.Sc. Nursing college in Uttar Pradesh, the College of Nursing, Meerut (SVBP Hospital) has been imparting professional nursing education since the B.Sc. Nursing program began in 2012 with an initial intake of 50 students. The intake was expanded to 100 by 2017 through affiliation with CCS University and recognition from INC. The college, now designated as a State Nodal Centre (“Centre of Excellence”) since 2018, emphasizes a dynamic curriculum combining classroom learning, interactive pedagogy, and extensive clinical exposure. Facilities include advanced skill and foundation labs, computer lab, community health nursing lab, nutrition lab, simulation labs, and smart classrooms equipped with AV aids, ensuring comprehensive preparation of nursing professionals

Eligibility
- Age between 17 and 35 years (as of December 31 of admission year)
- Minimum 45% aggregate in PCB and pass in English; for SC/ST/OBC, a relaxation to 40% in PCB aggregate is allowed
- English must be a passed subject in Class 12.
- Open school (NIOS) candidates with Science and English are also eligible.
- Color-blind candidates allowed with corrective lenses.
- Selection requires medical fitness certification.
