Overview

The B.Sc. (Hons.) in Medical Technology at SIHS, Lavale, is a focused paramedical programme blending strong theoretical foundations with skill-based learning. Over three years, students begin with foundational knowledge in medical technology and then choose from nine specialized streams such as Clinical Lab, Imaging, Dialysis, OT & Anesthesia, Neurosciences, and more in Year 2 based on first-year academic performance. The curriculum emphasizes practical skills via training at the Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, simulations, and field exposure. Designed to shape industry-ready healthcare technologists, the programme nurtures critical thinking, professional ethics, and hands-on competence. 

Eligibility

Indian nationals (and eligible foreign candidates)

Completed 10+2 (science stream) with required subject combination and minimum aggregate marks

Working professionals with relevant background may seek direct admission to 2nd year (subject to approval by SIU) 

Must apply and attend the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) or equivalent followed by Personal Interview/Written Ability Test (PI-WAT/GEPIWAT).
