Overview

• The main aim of the program is to train students in technological aspects of medical care with good scientific foundation, where they can assist the physicians and surgeons especially in the high tech medical procedures.
• This course will include combination of campus classroom lectures and practical training in tertiary care hospitals.
• The medium of instruction for all the courses shall be English.
• After the completion of first year students can opt for specialities like Cardiac Care, Respiratory Therapy, Imaging Science, Clinical Laboratory, Dialysis, OT and Anesthesia, Ophthalmic Science, Neuroscience Technology, Laparoscopy and Endoscopy for their second and third year.
• Well trained technocrats with a strong scientific foundation make Medical Technology a challenging and rewarding career. 
• The demand for professionals who can provide diagnostic and therapeutic service has been growing at a much faster pace than the number being trained every year.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics as subjects. 
• Applicants who have educational qualifications and work experience in Cardiac Care, Respiratory Therapy, Imaging Sciences, Clinical Lab, Dialysis or Operation Theatre and Anesthesia, admissions will be given directly to 2nd year.
