Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)

Overview

The BASLP program is a four-year undergraduate degree integrating both theoretical and clinical training in audiology and speech-language pathology. It equips students with in-depth knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation strategies for speech, hearing, and communication disorders. The curriculum includes academic coursework—such as anatomy, linguistics, audiological diagnostics—combined with hands-on practical sessions and an immersive clinical internship year. Graduates are prepared for roles in hospitals, clinics, educational institutions, and rehabilitation centers, with recognized credentials overseen by bodies like the RCI 

Eligibility

Academic requirements:
10+2 with PCB (or equivalent subjects), around 50% marks (45% reserved)

Some institutions set specific age limits, e.g., between 17 and 25 years at time of admission

Entrance/Merit:

Admissions via merit or common entrance exams such as NEET UG, AIIMS, IPU CET, or institute-specific tests

Minimum Education
