Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Imaging Technology

• Candidates need to have qualified two year Pre-University (10+2) examination with PASS percentage and studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as principle subjects from a recognized educational Board.
• The vocational higher secondary education course conducted by vocational higher secondary education, Govt. of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of Govt. of Karnataka Pre University Course.
• Eligibility for admission is as per RGUHS norms as amended from time to time.

Imaging technology is the process of making radiographs of internal structure of body. These professionals are trained to prepare such radiographs to facilitate experts to diagnose and treat illness of patients. Imaging technologists are trained in operating MRI, computed tomography, sonography and regular x–ray machines. They are trained to prepare patients, position patient to undergo the radiological tests.

Duration:- 3 ½ years including 6 months of internship.
