During the Bachelor of Science portion, students take core units in human biology, biochemistry, food science, nutrition science, and complete a major in Nutrition & Dietetics.
- After successful completion of the Bachelor component (including required units and achieving the WAM threshold), students progress into the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics—a professional master’s taught full-time—which covers advanced dietetic training in areas such as medical nutrition therapy, food service management, public health nutrition, nutrition research, and substantial placements in clinical, community or food‐service settings.
- The programme is accredited by Dietitians Australia, making graduates eligible to become full members and join the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program.
- The combined pathway ensures students are well‐prepared for clinical and non-clinical roles in dietetics, nutrition research, community health, hospitals, industry or food service. The coursework is research-driven, emphasising evidence-based practice and interprofessional learning.
