Admission Process:
- Complete your senior secondary school qualification (or equivalent) with required subjects and exceptional academic performance.
- Demonstrate English language proficiency (for international applicants).
- Submit an online application to the University of Sydney for the Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine pathway.
- Applicants will participate in additional assessment processes: for example a written assessment and a panel discussion.
- On successful admission, enrol and complete the Bachelor of Science component (approx. 3 years) meeting performance criteria (e.g., Annual Average Mark at least 65 in each year) to progress into the Doctor of Medicine.
- Transition into the Doctor of Medicine phase and complete the required 192 credit points for MD (approx. further 4 years) with clinical placements and professional preparation.
- On completion of the Doctor of Medicine, graduates become eligible for provisional registration as medical practitioners (subject to regulatory requirements).
