Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

1. Must have passed 10+2/PUC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology
2. Minimum aggregate of 45% in PCB
3. Should be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission
4. Must qualify through KEA counselling or the institutional admission quota
5. Must satisfy RGUHS eligibility norms
6. Should be medically fit for the course

The BPT program at AIMSRC is designed to build strong foundational knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation sciences. With an advanced multi-speciality hospital on campus, students gain extensive clinical exposure in orthopaedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary care, sports medicine, paediatrics, and community physiotherapy. The department is equipped with modern electrotherapy units, therapeutic exercise labs, gait training setups, and advanced rehabilitation equipment. AIMSRC emphasises hands-on training, evidence-based practice, research participation, and patient-centred learning. Students receive guidance from experienced clinicians, participate in field postings, and undergo a rigorous 6-month internship that prepares them for professional practice or higher studies.

1. Apply for admission through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) or the institute’s direct admission process (Management Quota).
2. Meet all eligibility and documentation requirements.
3. Attend counselling (for KEA candidates) and choose AIMSRC – BPT.
4. If allotted, receive the admission order and report to the institute.
5. Submit original documents for verification.
6. Pay the prescribed fees at the accounts department.
7. Complete medical fitness and campus onboarding procedures.
8. Begin the BPT academic program as perthe RGUHS calendar.
