- He/she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with 50% in physics, chemistry and biology (botany & zoology), i.e. -Physics, chemistry and biology as major subjects).
- Candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary school Examination of National Open School. The candidate must pass in English.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany+ Zoology considered as a combined)

- He/she has attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of academic session.
- Admission will be done through a common entrance test at the State Level /or through score of a National Level Entrance Exam on merit basis.
- English shall be the medium of instruction for all the subjects of study and for examination of the course.
- A candidate has to secure minimum
- 75% attendance in theoretical.
- 80% in Skills training (practical) for qualifying to appear for the final examination
- No relaxation, whatsoever, will be remissible to this rule under any ground including in medical illness /disposition etc.
