Overview

• Physiotherapists are an integral part of the rehabilitation team who work in tandem with other health professionals to enhance enablement of an individual during and following disease/dysfunction or injury. As Physiotherapy has got important role to play in different types of medical and surgical cases, the course is structured around subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Therapy, Electrotherapy, Orthopedics, Neurology, General Medicine, General Surgery for learning by the students.
• Over the years the management and the staff of Co-Operative Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy have been working towards a common goal – providing quality education through dedication and commitment.

Eligibility

• Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 50% marks.
• Candidate should have completed 17 years of age prior to the joining of the Course.
