Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Overview

• Physiotherapists help patients rehabilitate from a state of incapacity due to genetic defect or the result of an accident or illness.Hence, you must have through knowledge of the human anatomy and the intricacies of bones, muscles and nerves.
• There are two ways to enter the physiotherapy field. A Diploma (DPT) or a professional degree course (BPT). At MAI the students go through practical hand on training at hospitals in the region.
• Today there are only 5000 qualified physiotherapists in India. Yet, it is estimated that one physiotherapist is required for every 10000 people and the demand for trained professionals is only growing with time.

• The Candidate who is Seeking to take Admission must have 10+2 (12th) PCB with min. 50% marks or DPT
