Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

1. Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
2. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for reserved categories).
3. Must have appeared and qualified in NEET‑UG.
4. Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

The MBBS program at AIIMS Madurai is a prestigious undergraduate medical qualification aimed at producing competent medical professionals. The curriculum is designed according to the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and includes a blend of foundational medical sciences and clinical training across key subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Community Medicine. 1. Qualify NEET‑UG: Appear and secure a valid score in the NEET‑UG examination conducted nationally.
2. Counselling Registration: Register for Centralized Counselling under the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats.
3. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Fill choices and participate in seat allotment rounds conducted by MCC.
4. Seat Acceptance & Reporting: Once allotted a seat at AIIMS Madurai, accept the seat and report on designated dates with required documents.
5. Document Verification: Submit original academic and identity documents during reporting.
6. Fee Payment & Hostel Allotment: Pay academic and hostel fees and complete hostel formalities.
7. Commencement of Classes: Attend induction and begin academic sessions as per schedule.
