Overview

Government Medical College, Jammu is one of the established government medical institutions in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, offering the MBBS programme with recognition from the National Medical Commission. Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English – meeting the minimum marks (usually 50 % for the general category; 40 % for the reserved) in aggregate for PCB. 
• Must have appeared in the NEET UG and obtained the minimum qualifying percentile as applicable. 
• Must have attained the minimum age of 17 years by 31 December of the year of admission. 
• Seat allotment is via counselling (state quota and all-India quota) for the specified number of seats. 
• Additional criteria (domicile, medical fitness, etc) as per the counselling authority may apply.
