Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

• Must have passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• Minimum required aggregate marks in PCB in 10+2 (for general category ~50%).
• Must have appeared in and qualified NEET-UG exam.
• Age at least 17 years by December 31 of the admission year.

GMERS Medical College, Dharpur-Patan is a government medical college established in 2012, located in Dharpur Village, Patan, Gujarat. The institution is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University and approved by the National Medical Commission, ensuring that its MBBS curriculum meets national regulatory standards. The college admits 200 students annually into its MBBS program. Students undertake a 5.5-year course including a one-year internship, during which they receive both classroom and clinical training. The campus offers necessary facilities including hospital exposure (large teaching hospital), library, laboratories, and hostel facilities.

1. Qualify NEET-UG: Appear for NEET-UG exam and obtain a valid score.
2. Register for State Counselling: For Gujarat, candidates participate in the Gujarat MBBS counselling (e.g., ACPUGMEC) as per state regulations.
3. Submit Choice of Colleges: During counselling, candidate fills preferred colleges (including GMERS Patan) in order of choice.
4. Seat Allotment: Based on merit ranking (NEET score), category, and preferences, seats are allotted.
5. Document Verification: Once allotted, candidate attends verification of documents at the designated centre/college to confirm eligibility.
6. Reporting to College & Fee Payment: After verification, candidate reports to the GMERS Patan college, completes admission formalities, pays fees.
7. Commencement of Course: After all formalities, student joins classes and starts the MBBS curriculum including internship in due time.
