Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

• Must have passed 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English
• Minimum 50% marks in PCB (40% for reserved categories as per NMC norms)
• Qualified in NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)
• Fulfilled age criteria (minimum 17 years at the time of admission)

Lakhimpur Medical College & Hospital (LMCH), established in 2021, is the eighth government medical college in Assam. It plays a crucial role in expanding medical education and healthcare accessibility in Upper Assam, especially in the Lakhimpur and Dhemaji districts. With 100 MBBS seats approved annually, LMCH is committed to producing skilled medical professionals to strengthen healthcare delivery in the northeastern region of India. The curriculum is designed as per the Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) guidelines of NMC, ensuring students are trained in clinical, practical, and community-oriented aspects of medicine.

Admission is based on the NEET UG entrance exam.
