  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) degree is recognised by Central Council of Indian Medicine Statutory body under Government of India Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. A BAMS graduate is eligible for Ayurvedic medical Practice. B.A.M.S in Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College is designed for 5 and half years including one year of compulsory internship. Other programs are designed as part of the BAMS course for interested students to fetch good recognition at an international level. The program is so designed as part of the B.A.M.S course to help students develop life skills and other skills necessary for practitioners. These skills also include etiquette presentability and communication skills giving rise to an overall personality development.

Eligibility

  • The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognised by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of general category and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. In respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case of general category and 40% in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
