Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination from a recognized board
• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects
• Must have obtained the required qualifying marks in PCB subjects as per NCISM and NEET-UG guidelines
• Candidate must qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)
• Minimum age requirement is 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year
• Candidates must fulfill eligibility requirements prescribed by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and AYUSH counselling authorities.

The Under-graduate Course, AyurThe Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurved College and Institute, Bhopal is an undergraduate medical degree program focused on the study of Ayurveda, traditional Indian medicine, and modern medical sciences. The program provides comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical clinical training in Ayurvedic principles, diagnosis, treatment methods, herbal medicine, and surgical concepts. The curriculum covers subjects such as Ayurvedic fundamentals, Sanskrit, anatomy (Rachana Sharir), physiology (Kriya Sharir), pharmacology (Dravyaguna Vigyan), pathology, preventive medicine, Panchakarma, Kayachikitsa, Shalya Tantra, and Shalakya Tantra. Students receive clinical exposure through hospital training and patient care practices, along with a compulsory internship to develop hands-on skills in Ayurvedic healthcare delivery.
